Support visiting human rights defenders

Being a Shelter City volunteer is a great way to support human rights defenders during their stay. It is also an opportunity for you to get to know activists from all over the world, listen to their stories, learn from them.

Your tasks as a Shelter City volunteer may be various and can be tailored to your own capacities.

You can for instance be a Shelter City support staff and support one or more Shelter City guests during their stay, guide them through the city, or join them during the activities they choose to take part in.

Moreover, you can volunteer as a writer and share the stories of Shelter City guests, or as a photographer, filmmaker, or even as a translator.
